As the number of cases, as well as deaths from the Covid 19 crisis, continue to rise, we are all working diligently to best prepare ourselves and our community for its arrival into Pecos County ... we want to reinforce our recommendations during this trying time:
|
- Please, STAY HOME as much as possible. Go out for essential items only.
- Continue to practice social distancing. It’s working!
- Wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face
- If you do cough or sneeze, do so into a tissue or cover with an elbow or arm.
- If you develop symptoms or are concerned that you have been exposed, call your doctor and STAY HOME!
While we do have some testing kits, we have a very limited number of them. Since we are not a “Hot Spot” of infection, we are very low on the priority list to suppliers, which is understandable. We are a rural community in a remote part of the state with very limited access to supplies, equipment and personnel. In order to best save and utilize our resources, we are begging for your help. Please, STAY HOME and follow guidelines set out by the CDC, regional and local officials, and us as well.
|
We as a medical staff LOVE Ft. Stockton and Pecos County and are so extremely proud to call this place our home. We want to keep everyone safe and treat our patients with the best care possible, and this will help us to do that.
