Youth Leadership Application Deadline is August 30
|
The Youth Leadership program is open to high school seniors ready to level up their leadership skills, get involved in the community, and earn scholarship opportunities along the way. Participants will gain hands-on experience, serve their community, stand out on college applications, and build their resumes – all while exploring the community they call home. Students participate in educational sessions and community service projects throughout the year. Upon successful completion, participants are eligible for scholarship opportunities.

The program is free of charge, but class size is limited to 25 students.

The American Legion Department of Texas is calling all veterans to attend the revitalization efforts on September 6, 2025 to bring back the glory of American Legion Post 234 right here in Fort Stockton. We will be meeting at the Chamber of Commerce, 1000 E Railroad Ave, 9am through 5pm. If you are a veteran that has served honorably since December 7, 1941, come and join us.
