Ambassador’s Meeting Minutes August 2025 by Laura Thornton
The August 2025 meeting for the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors was held at noon on August 12, 2025 in the meeting room of the Chamber.
Letricia Slater, Michaela Davis, Jeanette Milam, Remie Ramos, Laura Thornton, Angela Harral, Miriam Forgacs, Keith Weyerts, John Urias, Leslie Davis, Monica Mendoza, Jerome Davis, Eva Nanez, Glenn McCorkle, Sharron Clark and Connon Emmons with Apex and Arna McCorkle were all in attendance.
Letricia called the meeting to order.
Angela was asked to lead the invocation.
Minutes for the July meeting were read. Remie made a motion to approve the minutes and Jeanette seconded the motion.
The group then discussed the following upcoming community events:
- August 15 Live at Zero Stone featuring Brian Garrison
- September 6 American Legion recruitment 9am to 5pm at the Chamber
- September 13 Barrio Fest
- September 19 Homecoming
- September TBA 4H Purse Bingo
- October 11 Health Fair and Pink Out 5K at Zero Stone Park
- October 25 M2M – Water station volunteers needed
- October TBA 4H Murder Mystery Dinner
- November 13 Holiday Glitz
- November 22 Arts and Craft Fair
- December 1-12 Silent Auction
- December 5 Christmas Parade
- December 19 Joy Run for Focus Care
A call to adjourn was made. Remie made the motion and Keith seconded.
