Ambassador’s Meeting Minutes November 2023 by Laura Thornton
The November 2023 meeting for the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors was held at noon on November 14, 2023 in the meeting room of the Chamber. Letricia Slater, Audrey Mendoza, Jeanette Milam, Remie Ramos, Laura Thornton, James Thornton, Angela Harral, Isai Rojas, Miriam Forgacs, Anita Gandy, Veronica Lopez-Carrasco, Keith Weyerts, Leslie Davis, Elaine Haby, John Urias, David Garcia, and Arna McCorkle were all in attendance.
Letricia made the call to order and Elaine led the invocation.
The minutes for the October meeting were read and Jeanette made a motion to approve. Leslie seconded that motion
The group then discussed the following upcoming community events:
- November 18th Arts and Crafts Fair
- November 21st Thanksgiving Party at Focus Care from 12pm to 4pm
- November 27th- December 8th Silent Auction at the Chamber to benefit the Joy Run
- November 30th Pecan Show
- December 1st Christmas Parade with the theme “Christmas Wishes”
- December 1st Chamber Open house and pictures with Santa after the parade
- December 1st Feast of Sharing
- December 2nd Headways Salon’s 40th Anniversary
- December 5th Toy Bingo
- December 7th Dinner of Remembrance @Heritage Funeral Home
- December 15th Joy Run
A call to adjourn was made. Angela made the motion and Keith seconded.
