Ambassador’s Meeting Minutes February 2025 by Laura Thornton
The February 2025 meeting for the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors was held at noon on February 11, 2025 in the meeting room of the Chamber.
Letricia Slater, Jeanette Milam, Laura Thornton, Isai Rojas, Remie Ramos, Miriam Forgacs, Anita Gandy, John Urias, Leslie Davis, Elaine Haby, Graciela San Miguel, Monica Mendoza and Arna McCorkle were all in attendance.
Letricia called the meeting to order.
Isai was asked to lead the invocation.
The minutes for the January 2025 meeting were read silently and a motion was made by Remie to accept the minutes. Jeanette seconded the motion.
The group then discussed the following upcoming community events:
- February 13th Galentine’s Tea and Fashion Show at Focused Care
- February 18th Leadership Fort Stockton
- February 20th Historical Banquet “Cowboys in the Sky: Airfields in the Big Bend”
- Presentation by Kirby Warnock
- Large Community Hall
- February 21st Vida Ribbon cutting 6:30pm 105 W. 1st Street, Suite A
- February 27th Chamber Banquet “Tour de Fort Stockton”
- $25 per person or $250 per table, with Speaker Jeremy Hickman
- Beef Tenderloin and Shrimp. Traveling Trophy will be awarded to best decorated table in theme “Tour de Fort Stockton”.
- Pecos County Civic Center
- March 8th 4H Daddy Daughter Dance “Spring Fling” at Civic Center
- March 20-22nd Comanche Springs Rodeo
A call to adjourn was made. Remie made the motion and Miriam seconded
