Ambassador’s Meeting Minutes January 2025 by Laura Thornton
The January 2025 meeting for the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors was held at noon on January 14, 2025 in the meeting room of the Chamber.
Letricia Slater, Jeanette Milam, Laura Thornton, Karin Millner, Remie Ramos, Miriam Forgacs, Anita Gandy, Keith Weyerts, Elaine Haby, Graciela San Miguel, Lionel James, Monica Mendoza and Arna McCorkle were all in attendance.
Letricia called the meeting to order.
Elaine was asked to lead the invocation.
The minutes for the October 2024 meeting were read and a motion was made by Remie to accept the minutes. Keith seconded the motion.
The group then discussed the following upcoming community events:
- January 18th Ribbon Cutting at Pecos County Library
- February 14th Valentine’s Dance at St. Agnes Church
- February 27th Chamber Banquet
- March 8th 4H Daddy Daughter Dance “Spring Fling” at Civic Center
- March 20-22nd Comanche Springs Rodeo
Anita asked for those interested, Focus Care is accepting sponsors for the monthly birthday party they have for residents.
A call to adjourn was made. Remie made the motion and Miriam seconded.
