Ambassador’s Meeting Minutes January 2024 by Laura Thornton
The January 2024 meeting for the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors was held at noon on January 9, 2024 in the meeting room of the Chamber.
Letricia Slater, Audrey Mendoza, Jeanette Milam, Remie Ramos, Laura Thornton, LouAnn Tovar, James Thornton, Angela Harral, Karin Milliner, Miriam Forgacs, Anita Gandy, Keith Weyerts, Jasmin Flores, Leslie Davis, Elaine Haby and Arna McCorkle were all in attendance
Letricia made the call to order and Angela led the invocation.
The group then discussed the following upcoming community events:
- January 11-13 Pecos County Livestock Show
- February 27th Kids, Cows and More
- February 29th Chamber Banquet
- March 21-23 Comanche Springs Rodeo
- Adding a UPRA Steer Roping Thursday to Slack Events
- Secretary of Agriculture, Sid Miller and State Representative Andrew Murr are both currently scheduled to attend
- March 23 Rodeo Parade at 10 am
- March 23 Rodeo Dance feat. The Stateline Band following the Rodeo
- TBA Monthly Bingo by the Lions Club
- Free to participate. Snacks will be served and there will be prizes available
A call to adjourn was made. Miriam made the motion and Angela seconded.
