Ambassador’s Meeting Minutes May 2024 by Laura Thornton
The May 2024 meeting for the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors was held at noon on May 14, 2024 in the meeting room of the Chamber.
Letricia Slater, Audrey Mendoza, Jeanette Milam, Remie Ramos, Laura Thornton, James Thornton, Angela Harral, Miriam Forgacs, Anita Gandy, Keith Weyerts, John Urias, Gracie Miguel, Lionel James, and Arna McCorkle were all in attendance.
Letricia made the call to order and Angela led the invocation.
There were no minutes for the April meeting.
The group then discussed the following upcoming community events:
- May 17th High School Graduation
- May 25th Placing Flags on Veteran’s graves for Memorial Day @ East Hill Cemetery o 9 am. Need any available Ambassador to help
- June 2nd Leadership Fort Stockton Graduation
- June 7th Live at Zero Stone Concert
- July 3rd 4th of July Dance featuring State Line Band and Fireworks o Dance starts at 8. Fireworks display at approximately 10:15 or when dark)
- July 4th Daytime 4th of July Events o 11 am to 4 pm. Food Contests with Lions Club, 11:30 Kids parade, Car Show by Leadership Fort Stockton. Still seeking partner for Kid’s Games
A call to adjourn was made. Miriam made the motion and Keith seconded.
