Ambassador’s Meeting Minutes  May 2023 by Laura Thornton

The May 2023 meeting for the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors was held at noon on May 9, 2023, in the meeting room of the Chamber. Letricia Slater, Jeanette Milam, Remie Ramos, Laura Thornton, Angela Harral, Karin Milliner, Miriam Forgacs, Anita Gandy, Keith Weyerts, Angel Sorola, Monica Iverson, David Vick, and Arna McCorkle were all in attendance.

Letricia made the call to order, and Angela led the invocation.

The minutes for the April meeting were read. Jeanette motioned to approve the minutes, and Angela seconded the motion.

The group then discussed the following upcoming community events:

• May 9th Glitzy Brew-Business Spotlight
• May 29th Memorial Day
• June 2nd Karan Hefflefinger’s Moving/Retirement Party and Dance
• June 3rd Leadership Graduation
• September 14-17 Mo Ranch Leadership Retreat

Angela Harral has started with assistance from the county, a new youth horsemanship club aimed at children too young to participate in 4-H called the Comanche Springs Riding Club

A call to adjourn was made. Remie made the motion and Angela seconded.
