Ambassador’s Meeting Minutes June 2024 by Laura Thornton
The June 2024 meeting for the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors was held at noon on June 11, 2024 in the meeting room of the Chamber.
Letricia Slater, Jeanette Milam, Remie Ramos, Dee Dee Warren, Laura Thornton, Miriam Forgacs, Keith Weyerts, Leslie Davis, Elaine Haby, Joh Covington, and Arna McCorkle were all in attendance.
Letricia made the call to order and Keith led the invocation.
Keith made a motion to approve the minutes for the May meeting. Jeanette seconded.
The group then discussed the following upcoming community events:
- June 13 Summer Off the Patio featuring Kimmi Bitters
- June 15 Sanderson Tornado City Cleanup
- June 21 Live at Zero Stone featuring Rick Reeves
- June 27 Summer Off the Patio featuring Lee Mathis
- July 3rd 4th of July Dance featuring State Line Band and Fireworks
- Dance starts at 8. Fireworks display at approximately 10:15 or when dark)
- July 4th Daytime 4th of July Events
- 11 am to 4 pm. Food Contests with Lions Club, 11:15 Kids parade, Car Show by Leadership Fort Stockton from 11am to 4pm. Still seeking partner for Kid’s Games
- July 5th Live at Zero Stone featuring Marcos Mendoza, Jr.
A call to adjourn was made. Remie made the motion and Keith seconded.
