Ambassador’s Meeting Minutes July 2023 by Laura Thornton
The July 2023 meeting for the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors was held at noon on July 11, 2023 in the meeting room of the Chamber. Letricia Slater, Ysabella Sanchez, Jeanette Milam, Remie Ramos, Laura Thornton, James Thornton, Miriam Forgacs, Anita Gandy, Keith Weyerts, Elaine Haby and Arna McCorkle were all in attendance.
Letricia made the call to order and Keith led the invocation.
The minutes for the June meeting were read. There was a correction in the spelling of Elaine Haby’s name. Miriam motioned to approve the minutes with corrections, and Jeanette seconded the motion.
The group then discussed the following upcoming community events:
- July 1-31 Chamber of Commerce Photo Contest
- July 13th – 15th Water Carnival
- July 13th City Bank Business Spotlight
- July 14th Zero Stone with KWES 9
- July 15th PCSB 95th Anniversary
- July 15th Lion’s Club Golf Scramble
- July 21-22 Rodeo Queen Pageant
- July 22 St. Joseph Cemetery 8-12
- August 19th 4H Bingo (possible)
- August 26 4H Kickoff party and dance
A call to adjourn was made. Keith made the motion and Miriam seconded.
