The Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce is seeking proposals from experienced and professional DJs to provide musical entertainment for the annual Independence Day Celebration at Rooney Park in Fort Stockton. This event brings together the community for family-friendly fun, food, and fireworks. The selected DJ will play a key role in creating an engaging and festive atmosphere.
The Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce, a 501(C)6 organization established in 1920, invites you to bid on the event, as outlined below:
- 2025 Independence Day Celebration – Friday, July 4, 2025
o DJ Services required 12 pm – 8 pm - Venue: Rooney Park, Fort Stockton

The selected DJ will be responsible for:
- Providing music and entertainment from 12 pm to 8 pm.
- Creating a lively, patriotic, and inclusive playlist that appeals to a diverse audience.
- Making announcements and keeping attendees informed on activity schedules.
- Coordinating with event staff regarding schedule, volume levels, and transitions.
- Providing all necessary sound and equipment (speakers, mixer, microphones, etc.).
Ideal candidates should have:
- Prior experience performing at public outdoor events.
- A diverse music repertoire, including popular hits, patriotic songs, and family-friendly selections.
- Professional-grade sound equipment.
- Proof of liability insurance.
Proposals should include the following:
- DJ/Company name and contact information.
- Description of relevant experience and past events.
- Sample playlist or music genres covered.
- Assurance that equipment and setup will suit the large outdoor venue.
- Pricing structure and total proposal cost.
Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:
- Experience and qualifications
- Quality and appropriateness of music selections
- Cost and value
