Ribbon Cutting: CASA of West Texas 6/5/2025

CASA of West Texas held a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, June 6, 2025, to dedicate their Fort Stockton location to the volunteers and the abused and neglected children they serve in the TransPecos region.

CASA of West Texas supports volunteers who advocate for child abuse victims in Midland, Howard, Dawson, Gaines, Andrews, Martin, Glasscock, Reeves, Pecos, and Brewster Counties. When severe child abuse and neglect occur in a home, foster care may be the only option to keep a child safe. When a child enters foster care, a judge will appoint a CASA Volunteer to advocate for that child’s best interests in court and the community. Every child in foster care needs someone they can count on to be there for them…someone to speak up for them–an advocate. Could you be that person? Learn more and get involved as a volunteer or donor by visiting casawtx.org

Representatives of the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Ambassadors, Chamber Board of Directors, as well as officials from Pecos County, attended to celebrate and present the official membership plaque.
