Walmart held a grand RE-opening ribbon-cutting on Friday, July 25, 2025, celebrating the completion of the store remodel. The event began with Walmart management recognizing team members for their hard work and recognizing tenured team members. It was noted that the remodel of the Fort Stockton Walmart went so well because of the hard work of the team. CONGRATULATIONS!

Representatives from the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Ambassadors, and Chamber Board of Directors attended to celebrate, along with representatives from the City of Fort Stockton, Fort Stockton EMS, and the Fort Stockton Police Department.
