Joy Run
The Joy Run is one of the Chamber’s most cherished traditions—a chance to bring holiday cheer to every resident of our local nursing home and to Meals on Wheels participants.
How It Works
- Silent Auction (Dec. 1–12)
Bid on donated items and services. Every dollar raised goes directly to the Joy Run fund. - Volunteers in Action
Community members shop, wrap, and deliver gifts with care. - Gifts That Matter
Cozy blankets, robes, pajamas, slippers, stuffed animals, and more. - Facility Enhancements
When funds allow, we also provide items that benefit all residents—past donations have included a projector and screen, audio system, outdoor seating, and essential supplies.
The Big Delivery
In mid-December, Santa joins us at the nursing home to hand out gifts, sing carols, and share joy with residents. Meals on Wheels ensures gifts reach participants at home. It’s a heartwarming experience for everyone involved.
How You Can Help

- Deliver: Be part of the Joy Run and share the holiday spirit firsthand.
Together, we can make this season brighter for those who need it most.
The 2025 Joy Run to deliver the gifts will be on Friday, December 19th.
